Hi I’m Neram,

… Afro-German, mother of four, holistic full spectrum doula and sexual and reproductive health guide.

I love creating and holding space for you because I believe that it makes a difference when we feel heard, seen and loved exactly how we are. With all our facets. Same as being in the know and being able to make informed and conscious decisions. Both are so important while going through that journey and transformation that pregnancy, birth and postpartum is as well as our general sexual and reproductive health. With the good and the bad. With the light and the shadow. With everything that comes with it.

And let me tell you, I am all here for it!

Holistic, Culture Sensitive and Multilingual Companionship, in person & virtual.

Not one is like another…

Every woman, every person I accompany is unique. Not one is like another.

This is why you will not find one size fits all packages here. My companionship is always tailor made towards your very own needs.

Whether you seek guidance or companionship for your menstrual cycles and sexual and reproductive health, before and while trying to conceive, during pregnancy, birth and postpartum, loss, abortion, breastfeeding, times of general change in your life…my presence and the space I hold for you is not limited to one single phase.

Holistic what ?

My companionship is holistic and built on the following pillars:

Spiritual & Inner Commitment

Body Literacy

Nutrition

Movement

Medicinal Plants

Healing Touch

Self Care

Ceremony & Rituals

Intercultural & Culture Sensitive

Our cultural context, nuances and layers matter.

Depending on our cultural background, our unique values, beliefs, norms, and practices can influence how we perceive and interact with the world.

Being Afro-German myself and having lived in various countries, I see the world through a culture sensitive lense. I recognize and respect the diversity of cultural backgrounds when accompanying women and families.

This counts as well with how I use and treat the knowledge and medicine that is part of my companionships.

Pain & Trauma Informed

Trauma or outside of Western clinical language often better understood as the experience of a deep inner scare or pain is something that a lot of women and people experience in this world.

Sometimes it’s lived during childhood or one’s youth, sometimes it happens during our adult life, for some it’s carried through from our ancestors, transmitted generation to generation…

I aim to make space for identifying and naming this pain, look at its root and provide “trauma informed” companionship, using a combined version of ancestral and decolonial psychological tools.

Spiritual & Inner Commitment

We are not only our human body.

We are spiritual beings living a human experience.

People of indigenous communities have understood this forever. The mind-body connection is scientifically proven.

Our spirit, our mind and our body are deeply connected.

This is why I always accompany the combination of these three layers and address looking at what needs rebalance and healing.

Why ? Because when our spirit is lost, when our mind is out of balance, our body can become sick. Especially when it comes to our menstrual and womb health as well as pregnancy, birth and postpartum it is essential to not neglect the holistic connection of our layers.

Body Literacy

Our body is our house.

The more we know about our anatomy, organs, systems and hormones, the easier we can begin to understand it, read signs and take care of ourselves.

Everything is one way or another intertwined and connected.

And: when it comes to our body, knowledge and understanding is a big part of our way stepping into our power.

That’s fabulous, isn’t it ?

Nutrition

We are what we eat.

Our nutrition plays a big role when it comes to our health.

Looking at what we put into our body and how we nourish ourselves is incredibly important.

And this even more when being pregnant or while facing health imbalance in the body.

That said, there is not one size fits all diet that works for all of us.

This is why I approach nutrition from a culture sensitive point of view.

Not following any trends but looking at ancestral, local and culturally focused nourishment.

Movement

Movement does not equal exercising.

We can move our body in so many ways.

Not harder, faster, stronger.

But consciously. With love. Passion. And care.

Taking our wants, needs and preferences into consideration. As well as our menstrual cycle.

Pleasurable and fun movement for our body and soul.

Healing Plants

Nature provides so many helpful and potent herbal allies, both in a physical, emotional and spiritual way.

I include medicinal plants in my companionship wisely in a variety of ways, with respect and intention, in a culture sensitive way, case by case, personal story by personal story.

Human Touch

The sensation of being touched is not only a sensorial experience but also an essential aspect of human communication, bonding and well-being.

Human touch can even change patterns in our brain, help us release emotions, slow down our heart rate and enable us to relax.

If I was a government official, I’d make sure that massages would be available to all people.

Unfortunately, often it is neglected in Western medicinal care and rather seen as a “luxurious wellness add on”.

I have studied the human body and learned various therapeutic massage methods that are highly beneficial before, during and after pregnancy as well as in other life situations.

Self - Care

Self- Care is important because YOU are important.

That said, the way how it can look can differ so much one person to another.

In my companionship I always foster the importance of self-care, beyond the capitalistic bubble bath and spa-day way.

My approach towards self-care is holistic, delicious and will make you want to practice it rigorously whenever you can.

Ceremony & Rituals

Back in the days our life was marked both individually and collectively by honoring and celebrating important moments and milestones through ceremonies, using specific rituals.

Whether it’s the initiation of the first menstruation (menarche), conception, pregnancy, perimenopause and menopause, the separation from a loved one, setting yourself free from trauma, loss and death…there are plenty of moments where holding ceremony can help us connect, find meaning and heal.

Depending on your very own situation I can guide you and suggest as well as host rituals and ceremonies in a culture sensitive way for you.
